Salami & Herb Pizza
The origin is Italy but Kiwis love them just as much. Enjoy!
Get creative and add more toppings or even arugula to add a bit of colour to the meal
Ingredients
- 2 x 23cm (approx.) prepared pizza bases
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 6-7 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 50g sliced salami, julienned
- 8 pitted olives, sliced
- finely grated Parmesan and oregano to garnish
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place oven tray in to heat.
- Brush the pizza bases with the oil. Spread with the tomato paste. Sprinkle with the mozzarella and parsley. Top with the tomatoes, salami, and olives.
- Bake on the hot oven tray for 15-20 minutes, until cooked. Sprinkle with Parmesan and oregano just before serving.
