Onion & Frank Soup

1 Tbsp butter or margarine
2 large onions, peeled and thinly sliced into rings
½ tsp dry mustard
4 cups beef stock
4 frankfurters, diagonally sliced
1 cup finely sliced cabbage
freshly ground black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Melt the butter in a large saucepan and sauté the onion for 3 - 4 minutes or until softened. Add the mustard and beef stock, simmer gently for 10-15 minutes. Add the frankfurters, cabbage and pepper. Heat through.
Serves 5-6.
