1 Tbsp olive oil
1 onion, peeled and chopped
500g lean beef or lamb mince
1 cup soft breadcrumbs
1 tsp mixed herbs or 1 Tbsp chopped fresh herbs (optional)
1/2 cup grated carrot
small soft rolls, split
Mix basic mince mixture ingredients together in a small bowl. Combine well and shape into small meat patties, toss lightly in plain flour. Heat the oil in a frying pan on a medium heat and cook patties for approximately 15 minutes or until no longer pink inside. Place on a soft roll with tomato, lettuce and grated carrot. Serves 4-6.
