Marinades for BBQ Season

Add some flare and fascination to meat with these aromatic blends.
Ingredients
Greek Yoghurt Marinade
- 1/3 cup yoghurt
- ¼ cup oil
- 4 lemons, juiced
- zest of one lemon
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsps dried oregano
- 1 Tbsp rosemary
- 1 Tbsp thyme
- pinch of salt and pepper
Tangy Apple/Orange Juice
- 1 cup apple or orange juice
- ½ cup oil
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 3 Tbsps lemon juice
- 2 Tbsps parsley
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
Succulent Red Wine
- 1 cup red wine
- ¾ cup olive oil
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp of sea salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 Tbsps onion, diced
- 2-3 sprigs fresh rosemary
Method
- Mix ingredients of chosen marinade in a bowl. Add meat.
- Just remember these marinades need at least 4-6 hours (the longer the better, overnight is great) to really work the meat!
