BBQ Pork Chops
A easy pork dish, perfect for barbecue season
Grilled to perfection, these barbecue pork ribs are finger-licking good!
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 2 cloves of garlic
- ½ tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper and salt
Method
- To prepare the marinade combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl.
- Place the ribs in a high sided baking dish or large bowl. Coat both sides of the pork chops in marinade; making sure to reserve ¼ of the marinade for basting the chops. Cover and place in the refrigerator, allow for the chops to marinate for at least 3-6 hours, make sure to turn occasionally.
- Preheat the barbecue to medium high heat.
- Grill the chops, basting with the reserved marinade as you cook. Continue to grill until the pork is browned and the juices run clear (approximately 6-8 minutes per side).
- Remove from the grill and cover. Allow for the meat to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
