A Kiwi Icon.
1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
1 onion, quartered
1 clove garlic
1 small green pepper (capsicum), coarsely chopped
2 tsp each: grated root ginger, chilli paste
2 Tbsp dark soy sauce
500g lean minced pork or beef
Place the breadcrumbs, onion, garlic and green pepper in a food processor and finely chop. Add all the other ingredients and combine in the processor. Shape into a loaf and place in a loaf pan. Microwave on half (50%) power for about 10 minutes. The top can be brushed with sweet chilli sauce.
Hints & Tips
Great served with mashed potato and steamed greens.
