Honey Roasted Yams
How about trying this recipe, children love it.

500g raw yams (or can use swede, parsnip, turnip)
2 Tbsp oil
2 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
Cut the vegetables into chunks if necessary. Toss all ingredients together in a baking dish until the yams are well coated. Bake at 180°C for 30-35 minutes, or until tender and fragrant. Serve piping hot as a vegetable accompaniment to any meat dish, or allow to cool then toss through leafy greens.
