Super Simple Winter Soup

- 210g packet King Traditional Minestrone Soup Mix
- 1 ham or bacon hock
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 stick celery, diced
- 2 bay leaves
- 9 cups of water*
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Layer all ingredients in the Crockpot, making sure to add the water last*
- Cook as per the Crockpot cooking instructions below, on either high or low setting (until the ham falls off the bone).
- Remove the ham bone from the Crockpot and set aside to cool. Once cooled, remove the fat and shred the meat into small pieces, add the meat back into the soup and serve hot.
